Posted on Tripadvisor CDFBolognaVerified Considering we paid for the castle and the boat ride, it is not cheap The tour was more expensive than it should be but most importantly, the guide was all but a guide. He was nice but not able to share anything about his country and create a group atmosphere.Posted on Tripadvisor Mohanan KVerified Amazing Lake Bled Visiting Lake Bled was amazing The views was stunning and picture perfect. The guide was knowledgeable and was very helpful.Posted on Tripadvisor Kathy CVerified A rainy morning which turned into a beautiful blue sky day Extrememy pleasant tour guide, comfortable clean van, he explained a lit about lake bled and Slovenia.Posted on Tripadvisor CannotwaittotravelVerified Great tour! Wonderful tour to lake bled! Had plenty of time to visit the castle, the island and walk by the lake. Our guide was very professional and nice.Posted on Tripadvisor Angela LVerified Bled visit Lovely way to spend 6 hours and our driver/guide was great. We didn’t go into the castle (some of the group did and some didn’t) personally, we would have preferred all the time at the lake rather than going to the castle first. There may have been a different trip that just did that I’m not sure. Tried the Bled cake too and walked a lot of the lake area. Very peaceful place. Absolutely stunning. So glad we visited.Posted on Tripadvisor Tracy MVerified Half day tour Great day out, beautiful placePosted on Tripadvisor Inspire455208Verified Fantastic day at Lake Blad Beautiful location- friendly and helpful driver. Small group (6 of us that day,) Visited both castle and church on the lake. Wonderful experience!!Posted on Tripadvisor TrevorYOVerified Essential trip if you’re visiting Slovenia A great experience. The guide was friendly and entertaining and kept us on track to see the sights. Both the castle and the lake were fantastic.Posted on Tripadvisor Rachel WVerified Great Great tour guide, great day - well worth a visitPosted on Tripadvisor rebeccatE9300IUVerified Lake Bled in a day Perfect and relaxed way to discover Lake Bled in one day from Ljubljana. We took the 0800 start and 6 hours is the ideal amount of time for this tour (4 hours at Lake Bled). Despite being off season it was still very busy. One hour was spent at the Castle where the views over the lake are spectacular. 3 hours are at the lake though it would be possible to climb the stairs back to the Castle if you wanted to eat at the restaurant which appears to have good reviews. It takes 1.5 hours to walk around the lake at a comfortable pace and it is entirely flat. You do not need specialist footwear, the whole route is a proper path. Make sure to re-fuel with the famous cake which comes in a sizable portion and is enough to share. We were very lucky with the weather as it was grey and misty in Ljubljana but a lot clearer at the lake. Highly recommended.
